Berry Best Wishes - Joy's Life DT post

Hello crafty friends! I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend!
This week the Joy's Life DT is showcasing projects using  either Yummy Puns or Popscicle Puns.
Now, I am usually a more "cutesy" or "whimsical" kind of person, but every once in awhile I get an idea that is a little more, I don't know... maybe traditional??   Anyway, I saw this cute strawberry image and thought it would go very well with Joy's Berry Best Wishes sentiment stamp from the Yummy Puns set.

Here is a closer look at the stamp:

I just love the different fonts Joy used for this stamp, don't you?
You can find this stamp set, along with all the other awesome sets right here at the Joy's Life Product's page.

Had a ruff day? - Altered Tin

Hello my crafty friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend!
I am so excited to share my project with you this week.
The Joy's Life Design Team was asked to create a project using one of the awesome tins that Joy is now selling.  I must admit, I wasn't really sure what I was going to do at first, but then I saw this cute little stamp and knew the perfect use for this tin.

Do you know what is inside???
What do you sometimes need for those "Ruff" kind of days??  Well, I sometimes get a bit of a headache and need to take an Ibuprophen. I thought this would be a great way to store some in my purse!!!

What do you think?  Kind of fun right?  :)
You know what else is fun?  This stamp is not actually curved, but it was super easy to bend to fit inside the circle perfectly!

You can find this awesome tin, as well as the cute little stamp from the You're So Punny stamp set,  right here on Joy's products page.

Popping by to say "Hi!"

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Today I am sharing my project for my post at the Joy's Life Design Team blog.
This week we were asked to create a "shape" card.  I was super excited about this because I don't really do "shape" cards, other than maybe a scalloped circle or something like that.
I knew right away what I wanted to do when I came across this sentiment:

Here's a close up of the awesome stamp:

Isn't that stamp just perfect???
It's from the VERY popular YUMMY PUNS stamp set, which is now in stock. :)   You can find this set, along with all the other fabulous stamp sets right here at the Joy's Life product page.

Joy's Life "Recipe For Fun" Blog Hop

Hello my crafty friends!!!  Welcome to the Joy's Life Recipe For Fun Blog Hop!!!

You should have just come over from the very talented Nina's blog  (waffleflower.com)   If you just happened to stop by today, please join us in this super fun and yummy blog hop. Not only are we sharing a fun project, along with something delicious, but we are sharing the recipe as well!! :)  If you would like to start at the beginning, you can go right over to Joy's Life.com

Now, I am not much of an elaborate chef to say the least, but thankfully my children think I am the "BEST COOK EVER"! LOL! I really like to find recipes that are quick and easy, but taste like it took hours to make... yep, kind lazy that way I guess.  Anyway, today I am sharing a fudge recipe that literally takes maybe 10 minutes to prepare... probably less!

Doesn't it look YUMMY???
My husband was appalled that I would even attempt to make fudge using the microwave, but guess what???  He absolutely LOVES it!

Here is the fudge recipe:
3 c chocolate chips (your choice of flavor)  I used 2 c milk chocolate and 1 c semi sweet
1 can (14oz)  sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup butter
1 c nuts (optional)  I didn't have any.  :(
**variations: use mint chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips etc.  mixed in with either semi sweet or milk chocolate chips. You can just experiment and see what you like best**

Put all ingredients into a glass bowl and microwave at 50% power for approximately 3-5 minutes, until  melted.

Pour mixture into an 8x8 pan. (I line mine with foil so the fudge does not stick)  Refrigerate until set.

And that is it!!!  You will have smooth, creamy and YUMMY fudge in no time!! :)

Project Recipe:
Sentiment stamps:  Joy's Life Tag You're It -Set Two  (used on box) and Yummy Puns  (used on place card)
Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes (box)
Cricut Something to Celebrate for place card
Cricut Imagine Spring Chic for all paper color and patterns
Stampin Up Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
Stampin Up Chocolate Chip ink
misc rhinestones from stash

I hope you give this recipe a try... you won't be disappointed!!

Next you will be stopping over at Sarabeth's blog to see what she is dishing up for you today!

Here is the entire line up, in case you lose your place along the way:
