Hi crafters!!

Here's a quick little card I created for my post at the Joy's Life Design Team blog. I started with a sketch from the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge, then I found this super cute shooting star image at the Silhouette online store.  

I thought the Joy's Life sentiment worked perfectly, and I love that adorable little Peachy Keen face!!

Happy egg hunting - Guest Diva

Hello crafters!

I am super excited today because I was asked to be a Guest Diva over at the Die Cuttin Divas Weekly Challenge Blog.  The challenge today is to create a project using ribbon and embossing. Now I realize this should be pretty easy to do right??? Well, I have not used ribbon on a card in over 6 months or more!! I am more of a twine and hemp kind of gal. :)  It's not that I don't love the way ribbon looks on a project, it just I CAN NOT tie a bow to save  my life! As you will see on my card today!! LOL!!

 I really LOVE my card, but that bow is definitely lacking!! :)

Joy's Life Inspired By Blog Hop!! Birthday Card!!

So, for this hop, we were asked to create a project and share a photo of what inspired us. Well, I had these pictures on my computer to email to a friend on her birthday. (She is dog lover, so I thought they would be perfect!) Anyhow, I came across them a few days ago and they are what inspired my card!

Those dogs just crack me up!!!

So, here is my "Inspired By" card:

I figured with the way my brain operates these days, I am bound to forget a birthday, and probably sooner than later, so this would be good card to have on hand!!  LOL!!

I put the doggie on an Action Wobble to make it a little more festive:

Happy First Day of Spring!!

I am so happy that Spring is here. I absolutely love this time of year! :)

All the flowers and trees are blooming, and everything is just so pretty!!

Of course with Spring, comes Easter. Kind of hard to believe Easter is only a week and half away!

Happy St. Patricks Day - Birthday Card!

Top of the day to ya, my friends!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I just wanted to share a card I made for one of my BFF's who's birthday is today!  As tradition has it, I always make her a St. Patrick's birthday card.... there really is no other choice is there???  :)

So here is her card:

It was really quite simple to  make. 

The card base is actually a file from the Silhouette online store. (I believe it is a Lori Whitlock file.)

And the stamped shamrock image is from the Peachy Keen Feb. 2012 SOTM kit.  I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers. :)

Hello, and Happy Wednesday to ya!!

When it comes to weather, I often feel so lucky to be from California.  There has been so much crazy weather across the country this winter, I just don't know how you all deal with it!!

Thankfully, Spring is just around the corner.  :)

So here is a card for all of you who have the "winter blues":

I added a little glossy accents to the rain drops and umbrella for the wet look:

I used the Print and Cut feature on my Cameo, then cut out some extra layers to give the card more depth.
