Heard you caught a bug

Hello crafters!
It's Wednesday, and my day to post over at the Joy's Life Design Team Blog.
This week the DT is creating projects using recycled/upcycled items. I actually knew what I wanted to do for my card, but wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate the "recycle" part. I literally walked around my house and craft room trying to find some things I could use, and this is what I came up with:

Packaging from some MS Glitter, an old wedding favor of mine, and a box from some skin care.
Here is what they turned into:
I actually ended up cutting out two of the acrylic jars.
And here is the finished card:

Don't you just love that sentiment??
This stamp is from one of Joy's new stamp sets "Punny Animals".

Supplies used:
Bug image and net handle: Silhouette online store
Sentiment stamp: Joy's Life Punny Animals
Jar and Lid: My Creative Time - Stitched Chunky Jar Dies
Stampin Up Label punch

When I grow up.....

Hello again!!
Ok... it's official, I have broken my blog post record!  4 cards in 3 days!! Woo Hoo!!
By the skin of my teeth, I have completed my card for the Peachy Keen Challenge. :)
So, before time runs out, and I better make this short so I can go submit my entry!

I used a couple of different cuts to create this card.  The girl pulling the wagon is from KaDoodle Bug Designs "Apple Orchard Girls",
the little baby girl in the wagon is from the Silhouette online store.
The sentiment is a combination of two stamps. The "Sis" stamp is Joy's Life Mother and Daughter stamp set, and the rest of the sentiment is from the Peachy Keen SOTM June 2012.
Peachy Keen faces: Wide Eyed Kids and Just Baby Faces
Well, I gotta go submit now. :)

Thanks for stopping by today! As always, I love and appreciate your comments. :) Have a CRAFTY DAY!! Lori

I love you, honey - Shaped card

Happy Wednesday crafters!!
I have been quite crafty in the last few days, and am so happy to be able to share another card for the 3rd day straight!! LOL!

Today is my day to post a the Joy's Life Design Team, so I thought I'd share my card here as well.  For the month of April, the DT will be showcasing projects using the new sets.
When I saw the sentiment I used for this card, I knew right away what I wanted to create using it.  I found the perfect images to use at the Silhouette online store, but I know there are very similar cuts available on Cricut cartridges as well.

Isn't that bee just the cutest??
The card base is a hive image that I welded using SSDE.

Supplies used:
Bee: Silhouette online store
Hive: Silhouette online store
Sentiment Stamp: Joy's Life "That Tastes Punny"
Stitched label: My Creative Time Vintage Label dies
Paper: Bazzil
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder: Textile Texture

Peas Love and Joy - Baby Gift Box

Hello crafters!!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
Today's project was inspired by one of Joy's Life new stamps, as well as the 3D Baby challenge at Peachy Keen. The sentiment I used is from Joy's brand new super adorable stamp set "That Tastes Punny".
LOVE, LOVE this new set!!  :)

I found this cute little jar of baby food at the Silhouette Online Store, then added the peas on the front, also from Silhouette, to go with the sentiment.
I thought this would make a great gift box for putting some cute baby bibs in.. you know, to go with the baby food! :)

Of course, I had to add some Peachy faces to make it even cuter!!
