Secret Circle Sister Stocking Swap!

Hi everyone!!  I am so sorry I haven't posted in a while.  I have been super busy and have not had time to share anything lately.  I have crafted plenty, but due to time constraints, I haven't been able to even take pictures of any of the gifts I have created. :(

I  want to share some pics of the awesome stocking I received from one of my Circle Sisters from the Secret Santa Stocking Swap we did.  This was so much fun... I can't wait to do it again. :)  I absolutely LOVE everything she sent... it is perfect! So here are the pics:

Are you jealous????  Look at all that crafting goodness!! LOL!
Here is the beautiful card she created for me!!
Yummy!!!!  Hate to admit it, but there is not much left of this now. :(
And.... she made me this adorable glitter ornament!!  LOVE IT!

I was so excited when I opened all my fun little gifts. Thank you so much Michele!!!

Well, I have still a LOT to do before Christmas so I gotta run.  I hope I will be able to share some of the fun projects I am working on very soon.

Happy Holidays to all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello my crafty friends!!  I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!  We will be spending the day at my SIL's this year, along with 22 other  family members.... it will be a great day. :) We were all up early this morning making our yummy homemade stuffing.  Each one of us has our special job to do and we just have so much fun!!  The girls are responsible for toasting the sourdough bread and breaking it into small pieces (one does the toasting, one does the breaking apart of the bread)  I am responsible for the chopping of the the celery, onions and green onions and my DH does the sauteing of the butter and celery/onion mix, plus he uses his "secret" spices to make it taste PERFECT!!  The we mix all the stuffing mix, sourdough bread and celery/onion mix together for the yummiest stuffing EVER!! :)   We are also bringing our mashed sweet potatoes... also very delicious!   Mmmmmmm.... can't wait!

I always enjoy this day... just sitting around talking with our family, eating yummy food, and going through all the Black Friday papers together! It truly is a great day.

I hope you all will be able to spend the day with your loved ones as well and have a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Big Hugs,
Lori

HALLOWEEN BLOG HOP!!

Good morning and welcome to our Halloween blog hop!  We have several talented ladies who will be sharing fun Halloween projects with you today, to hopefully inspire you to create some Halloween crafts of your own!  If you just happened upon my blog, please go to Kimberli's blog at http://www.kimberliscreations.blogspot.com/ to start from the beginning, so you don't miss anything!  There will be some fun giveaways along the way, so be sure to hop by each of the blogs so you don't miss any!

Today I am sharing some really cool tile coasters!  I have been experimenting with vinyl lately and I just love how easy it is to use.  (and cheap too... I only paid 11 cents for each tile at Lowe's!)  I designed these using my Gypsy, but most of it could be done just using your Cricut machine on it's own. ("Beware" was welded with my Gypsy) The images are from Happy Hauntings, October 31st. and Pumpkin Carvings.

What would a hop be without some fun blog candy!  I will be giving away some twine in holiday colors. Orange, black, green and red!!

Just become a follower of my blog, leave a comment and a way to contact you if you are the winner! :)

I will be entering this into the Cricut Circle Month Challenge: Halloween Home Decor , the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog: Spooky Time, create a project with a ghost on it and More Than Favors: anything goes.

Thanks so much for stopping... I hope you enjoyed my project!

Cricut Circle Blogaversary Challenges!!

Hello, Happy Friday!  Today I wanted to share a couple of cards I made for the Blogaversary Challenges on the Cricut Circle Blog.  There are a total of 6 challenges, but so far I was only able to get two of them done.  I just started last night, so that's actually not too bad for me! LOL!

The first challenge I did was: Use your Imagine Machine to print a background (it can be a solid color or a patterned paper from your Imagine cartridge) and use it on your project as well as cutting an image of your choice in layers- that’s right, choose the layers option on your image and print out one or all of the layers offered, piece them together on your project!

And the second challenge I did was:   Create a project of your choice using your Cuttlebug machine as the main focus. Your project must include atleast 2 different Cricut Image Cuts

I am pretty happy with how they turned out, especially since I made them in such a short amount of time (for me!)  So wish me luck!!
Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a very CRAFTY weekend!!
