Happy Bird-day ~ Happy Birthday!!

Hi there everyone!

I just wanted to pop in and share a couple of birthday cards I created lately.

This first card I made using a tag I shared here about a week and half ago. As much as I loved the tag,  I decided to make it into a card instead for my daughter's birthday.

I used the Sketch and Colors from the My Creative Time Challenge going on right now:

I used the Sketch from the MCT Challenge for this card as well:

Recipe:

MCT: Tag Die Layers

MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More

MCT: Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies

MCT: Happy Thoughts

Images:

Bird: Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month April 2013 (retired)

Pig: Craftin Desert Divas "Just Pigcause"

Challenges entered:

MCT: Designers Challenge

Thanks for stopping by today!

As always, I love and appreciate your comments. :)

Happy Bird-day! ~ PDE Linky Party

Hello everyone!

Happy Tuesday to ya.  :)

It's time for the weekly Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Party!!  This weeks LP is "Animal".

This is what I created for my DT project:

• The stitched tag and the "Happy" are from My Creative Time "Tag Die Layers".
• The adorable bird and flowers are stamps from the Peachy Keen Stamp of the April 2013 Stamp of the Month kit. (No longer available)
• The "Bird-day" portion of the sentiment is from the Joy's Life "Wild Life Puns".
• The patterned papers are from my scraps, so I am not sure where they came from. LOL!

And that about does it!

I hope you will join us at the Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Party!  You can find it right here.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
As always, I love and appreciate your comments.

There is a link to this free SVG pattern somewhere in today's hop lineup.

Today I have created two projects to share.

I used Punny Farm for this card:

The adorable chicken is from a file from My Scrap Chick "Shirley, Goodness and Mercy"
I used a Stampin Up punch for the border on the green patterned paper.
I added some twine and a button.
Then I stamped the sentiment with the new CDD stamp set Punny Farm.

For my second project, I created this fun Post It note holder. The sentiment and the cute little mouse and cheese images are all from the new CDD stamp set "Furever Friends"

I found this great Post It note  holder at the Silhouette Store.
I colored the adorable mouse and cheese images  using my Spectrum Noir markers.
The sentiment was stamped using the same set. :)
