Pawsitively Purrfect Birthday

Hello crafty friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! :)  Did you remember to set your clocks back??  I love that we will now be having daylight for an extra hour, but losing that one hour of sleep is a killer for a few days, especially for my girls. :(

Anyway, today I am a guest designer on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!  I am so flattered and honored that I was asked to be a part of their Spotlight Sunday and guest design for the Challenge Me Monday challenge.  The challenge this weeks is "Like a Lion". Make a project using a cat, lion or tiger; you must include at least 1 Cricut cut.  There are a lot of fun Cricut cuts that you could use for this challenge, so I hope you will join in this week!   Here is my card... I hope you like it!

Cricut cartridges:  Create a Critter (cat and pillow), Doodlecharms (birthday hat), Elegant Edges (background shape), Cricut Imagine All Wrapped Up (pillow pattern)
Stamps: Joy's Life Lots of Pun (Pawsitively Purrfect)  and Everday Occasions ("wishing you a" and "Birthday"
Misc: I-Rock gems, Viva Pearl Pen, Stickles, white gel pen, black jounaling pen, sheer white ribbon

I hope you all have a fabulous week!! Thanks for stopping by today! As always, I love and appreciate your comments. :) Have a CRAFTY DAY!! Lori

Cricut Circle Blog Weekly Challenge and FCCB

Hello....  Nothing like submitting a card in the last moments! LOL!  Here is a card I did for the Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge (needs to be postd in less than an hour!) and for the FCCB challenge as well.  I am not thrilled with how this turned out, but I simply ran out of time.   The rules of the Circle challenge are as follows:    We challenge you to incorporate white paint, metal, and a snowflake cut on your project this week.  The requirements for the challenge at FCCB is to incorporate some kind of winter clothing/accessory, hence the hat and gloves!!  (Oh... I found my samples of Action Wobbles so I cut one down to fit under the hat.  I REALLY like those little things!!) Maybe when I see this card in the daylight I will like it better! LOL!  Well.... here's the card.  If you leave a comment, please don't be too hard on me.  :)
Happy Crafting!!

PKS Sketch Challenge #33, FCCB Challenge #19 & Cuttlebug Spot Christmas in July

Hello.. Happy Sunday to you!!  Here is a card I made for a few different challenges. I stayed up until 3 a.m. working on this.... don't know how it got to be so late (or early, depending on how you look at it), but I LOVE how it turned out.  The challenges that inspired my card are:  Peachy Keen Stamps "Sketch" Challenge #33,  Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog "Christmas In July" Challenge #19,  and also the Cuttlebug Spot "Christmas in July".  I will post the recipe later, since once again, I forget which cartridges I used being I did it on my Gypsy!  I know I used the Cuttlebug EFs  Swirls and Swiss Dot. :)  Please let me know what you think... and if you have time, please look at some of my other projects I have posted.  Have a fabulous day and Happy Crafting!!

FCCB Challenge #18

Hello....   Here is another card I made for a challenge over at the FCCB. This challenge was to make a Yummy treat shaped card or project.  I have a lot of birthdays coming up, so these challenges are really helping me get some cards done, which is great, because unfortuantely I can be a bit of a procrastinator!  If you have time, please look at some of my others cards, and let me know what you think.  I am very new to this whole blogging thing and LOVE when someone leaves a comment... it really makes my day!! :)
