Happy Birthday ~ Banner card

Today is my DT post over at Craftin Desert Divas, so I thought I'd share it over here as well. :)

Our family has been celebrating A LOT of birthdays lately, so I am in need of replenishing my birthday card stash. :)
So I thought this would be the perfect time to start!!
Tara has released so many fabulous dies in the past few months, that I find myself not having to use my Cameo very much at all.  For this project, I only used it to cut out the "HAPPY" letters:

And not only do I not use my Cameo very often, but I don't need to pull out my sew machine for the stitching either! LOL!
The stitching around the black cardstock is from the "Sew Raggedy" stamp set.. This is my kind of sewing! :)

The tags used to create the banner are from the Mix It Up Dies set. The "Birthday" stamp is from "Bring on the Cake". 
And the scalloped background layer is from  "Fancy Frames Dies".

Hope your holiday sparkles ~ CDD Linky Party

For my  Make It Sparkle project, I decided to create a sparkly Christmas card! Sometimes sparkle is hard to photograph, but hopefully you can see it.   :)

I used the Fancy Frame Dies for the scalloped layer of my base. I then used the vine circle die from the CDD Stitched In Circles Dies to create the open area for my shaker. I also cut some glittery red card stock with the same vine circle die and inserted the positive cut I created into the negative area created on my patterned paper.

The Christmas tree image is from the CDD Chill Out stamp set and was colored using my Spectrum Noir markers. I added some "sparkle" to the tree ornaments and star using my Stardust Stickles.

The shaker sequins are from the CDD Star Power sequin mix.

I  stamped my sentiment onto a stitched banner from the CDD Mix It Up Dies and then added some more Stardust Stickles to the "sparkles" on the stamp.

You've Been Boo'd

Happy Hump Day!!!

Today I wanted to share a project I created for my girls so they could "BOO" some of their friends this Halloween.

Here is one of the "BOO" door hangers I made:

 I filled the inside of the box with a bag of delicious Halloween candy and added a tag using the tag die from "Pocket Pieces Hi Die" and then stamped Happy Hallo-Scream from the Hallo-Scream stamp set.

Spook Treats for You ~ CDD Linky Party

For my Sweet and Yummy project, I decided to create a fun Halloween treat bag:

The first thing I did was stamp my sentiment directly onto a glassine bag, then stamped the spiderweb image several times directly onto a glassine bag as well. I stamped several spiders onto some Coordinations white cardstock then colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers and just fussy cut them out.

After filling the bag with some Sweet and Yummy candy, I folded over the top of the bag and added some ribbon to keep it closed.

I added the adorable spiders onto the bag, hanging one of them from the ribbon.

And viola.... the cute little treat bag is completed.
