Can you believe it's Fall already?

I LOVE it!!

I am so excited for all the holidays that are upon us.  It's such a fun time of year, and I really love spending time with my family.

Today I am sharing the card I created for my Joy's Life Design Team post. This week the DT has showcased projects using Burlap, Buttons, Kraft and/or Twine.

I was able to incorporate ALL of these fun products into my card:

Isn't that little squirrel adorable??
I found this cute file at the Silhouette online store.
I inked the edges and added white gel pen doodles for more dimension.
I used the My Creative Time Vintage Stitched Label die to stamp my Joy's Life sentiment from the "That Tastes Punny" stamp set.
The burlap, button and twine are from my stash.

Peachy Keen Challenge

Hello everyone!

Here I am once again with a total LAST MINUTE  post to share my Peachy Keen Challenge project.  I have to admit... this one was kind of a tough one for me.
(And I totally apologize for the TERRIBLE pictures, like I said, it was last minute and the lighting is horrible at night!)

The Challenge is "Potluck". So instead of doing something to do with food, I went with one of my favorite things in the WHOLE world... COFFEE!! LOL!

I absolutely LOVE Halloween! 

We have such a great time decorating our house, inside and out!!

Here is one of the decorations I have made so far:

The green scalloped bottom is actually glitter paper... it's kind of hard to tell in the photo, but it looks really cool in person!  :)

And I just love the stamp I used from Halloween Puns:

I had a lot of fun creating this hat. I think I might make another one!!

The hat is part of a kit I purchased from the SVG Attic titled "Happy Halloween Haunt SVG Kit".  The rosette, spider webs and spider are from the Silhouette online store.   The papers are from Making Memories "Toil and Trouble".

Now for the best part!

I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Studio DE software for all of the paper.

There's a SCARE in the Air!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are enjoying your week so far. :)

Today I am sharing a card I made for the Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge.

And here is my take:

Instead of using the circles from the sketch, I used bats. :)

I found this adorable SVG at Miss Kate Cuttables and stamped the face using PKS Princess Face Asst.

The stamped sentiment is from Scrappy Moms "A Haunting We Will Go".

I found this amazing SVG file at SVG Cuts.com. The scarecrow is a part of the "Leaves are Falling" SVG kit. 
Although the kit has a sweet face, I decided to use a Peachy Keen stamp instead. :)

a Whole Latte Love

Happy Saturday Crafters!

I hope you are having a fabulous weekend so far. :)  It's my day to post over at the Joy's Life Design Team blog.

This week the Joy's Life DT has showcased "shaped cards".  I don't do these very often, but I think they are a lot of fun!

Here is what I came up with:

My sentiment is from the "You're So Punny" stamp set:

This image is an SVG I found at KaDoodle Bug Designs. To create the shaped card, I used Silhouette Studio Designer Ed. software. I layered the SVG image on the screen, then I offset the image (shadow) and traced it. I took the traced image, duplicated it, flipped the second image and then welded the two together to create the base.

You've Been Boo'd

Hello everyone!

Here is a project I created for my girls to give to some of their friends this Halloween.  Believe it or not, we have never actually "BOO'd" anyone. :(

Well, I think this will make a fun gift!! We will put some candy and small little trinkets inside, then it hangs right on the recipients door!!  :)

I found this cute cut file in the Silhouette store.  The adorable bat is from the PKS Stamp of the Month. The ghost is also from the Silhouette store and stamped with another PK stamp.  :)

totally awesome teacher - 3D Pencil - gift box

Hello crafty friends!!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far. :)

This week the Joy's Life DT is celebrating "Back to School".

I always like to have my girls bring in a little something for their new teachers, so I created this fun 3D Pencil to hold some yummy candy:

I added some salt water taffy tied in a cellophane bag:

And, stamped the tag with two different Joy's Life stamps:

The "totally awesome" is from the My Hero stamp set and the "teacher" is from Everyday Occasions stamp set.

The patterned paper is from Fancy Pants Designs.

Sweet little pumpkin

Hello my crafty friends!

It's Wednesday evening, so you know what that means??

Time for my Peachy Keen Challenge project! Yep, that's right... I procrastinated AGAIN!!  LOL!

In my defense tho, I have been SUPER busy so I haven't had much time to be crafting.

Anyways, it's the "photo inspiration" challenge this week at PKS, and I was inspired by the colors:
