Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge

Hello everyone!!  Another Christmas has come and gone... wow, hard to believe. Only a few more days until 2011, that is simply amazing! I wanted to show you one of the projects I did in December for the Cricut Circle Challenge.  I was so busy working on things, that I never got a chance to post.  Here is the challenge description:

The theme for this month’s challenge is geared towards helping you cross off one of the names on your holiday gift list! Please create a Holiday Gift Item. Project must be newly created for this challenge and should include the following elements to qualify: use a tag made with a cartridge (there are so many great tags on so many cartridges), use the color red somewhere, use ribbon, and use the Phrase Feature from one of the cartridges.

This was a perfect challenge since it really did help take care of one of the teacher gifts I had planned.  I know a lot of people did the glitter ornaments this Christmas, and I have to say... I LOVE them!  My children and I did about a dozen of these and gave them to teachers and family members, they really are fun to do.  I personalized each ornament on the back as well with each person's name/nickname.  The vinyl looks so nice on these and it is so easy to do.  I am sure we will be doing more of these next year!! :)

Thanks for stopping by. I wish you all a very Happy New Year!
Happy Crafting!

Merry Chistmas!!

Merry Christmas to you all!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday.  Once all the hustle and bustle of the holidays is over, I will be able to post a lot more projects.  I wish I could have posted all the projects I have been doing, but time has not been on my side.  I might put a few on here, but they are all Christmas related so I don't know.  Anyway....   I wish everyone a very very Merry Christmas!!

Circle Blog Weekly Challenge & Circle Weekend Challenge Entry

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous Tuesday!  This morning I went on  a field trip to the pumpkin patch with my youngest daughter and scrambled trying to get this done! The weekly challenge at the Circle blog was THINK PINK and we were to use Pink, Ruffles, Scallops, Flourishes, Glitter and Jewels ( incorporate any 3 on your project).  I just love this Nursery Tails cartridge and decided my neighbor needed one more gift for her new baby's room. I thought this little wall hanging would go very nicely with the other projects I made for her.  Hmmmmm, I hope she likes pink because that has been the main focus of all my projects!!!   Well, gotta get going... thanks for stopping by.  I would love if you would leave a comment... I so enjoy reading them!!  Have a Crafty Day!!

Scrapmaster's Paradise Challenge #69 and Circle Challenge

Hello again... This card was created for the challenges at Scrapmaster's Paradise and the Cricut Circle. This was a color combo challenge in which we were required to use  SU Black, Bashful Blue and Pumpkin Pie (or any similar color).  I love this color combination. I was so excited when I found some pattern paper for the girls dress that coordinated with these colors. I really like how it turned out... it will make a good birthday card for one of my friends! Thanks for looking.. hope you like what you see!!  Have a Crafty Day!

Super simple card made for Weekend Circle Challenge

Hello... Here is a  super simple card I made for the Weekend Circle Challenge.  I was obviously lacking time when making this one, but at least I completed it.  It was supposed to be a Circle inspired card. I used Winter Frolic for the Happy Holidays, cut at 1.82" (on G), the paper is from the new Cloud 9 Seasonal stack, used my NEW i-rock (and I love it) for the bling and some ribbon from my stash. Like I said... super simple, but I guess it looks alright.  Thanks for stopping by... Have a Crafty day!!

Imagine-Nation Monday Challenge with Emma

Hello... Happy Monday!! Emma over at My Creative Time has teamed up with Sarah from the Pink Cricut to host Imagine-Nation Monday. I am so looking forward to seeing the fabulous projects these two will be sharing with us. They will be doing challenges and having prized as well!  Woo-Hoo!!   Today's challenge is to create a project using the Imagine and incorporate either a stamped image or a stamped sentiment. The card I created was actually inspired by the stamps I used.  The "Hoppy Birthday" stamp is from Sarah's Pink By Design - Go Green stamp set  and the inside stamped sentiment "Toad-ally Fabulous" is from My Pink Stamper Punny-licious stamp set. (I know... it's a bit crooked, but it's handmade..right??) LOL This card is for a girlfriend of mine who is turning 40!! This is a standard A2 card with the frog image and it's layers cut at 3 1/2".  The base is SU craft and the background paper is SU Mellow Moss. The ribbon and pearls are just misc. from my stash. The layers are popped up using SU dimensionals.  Thank you for stopping by... I hope you liked the card.  Have a Crafty Day!!

More Than Favors Challenge Card

Hello, and Happy Sunday!  I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend... it seemed to just fly by for me. I wanted to share a card I made for the challenge over at More Than Favors. The Wacky Wednesday challenge was to make a card using a critter/animal. When I got the PinkByDesign Country Living stamps, I just knew I needed to make this card for my BIL because he is always saying "Holy Cow" so this worked out perfect! I was also able to use my Peachy Keen face stamps too, which I adore!! I like how this turned out,  I hope he does too! Thanks for stopping by.... Have a Crafty day!

My Creative Time Thursday Throwback Challenge

Happy Friday!! I hope you all have had a wonderful week. I have been so busy and haven't had time to post anything, but I stayed up late last night to make this card for Emma's (My Creative Time) Thursday Throwback Challenge.  The challenge this week was to make a shaped card using CAC cartridge and incorporate the color orange.  I absolutely love this cartridge and was excited to use one of the critters I have not used before.  I was actually inspired to use this cut because I wanted to use one of My Pink Stampers Punny liscous stamps that says "Hello Foxy".  This sentiment is stamped on the inside. I was also able to use my Peachy Keen face stamps, I absolutely love PKS!!  I really like how this little fox turned out, I hope you do too!  I wish you all a fabulous weekend.  Hope you get a chance to be CRAFTY!!

I am also offering some Yummy Blog Candy at the end of this post, so be sure to read all the way through. Now on with the show....

All of the projects are created using the absolutely adorable Nursery Tails cartridge. I fell in love with this cartridge the moment I saw some of the pics from CHA.  My neighbors daughter just had a beautiful baby girl last week, so I thought I would make some cute little gifts for her.

Made By Momo Tuesday Challenge #22

Happy Wednesday everyone!!  So tell me.... Did you do it?? Did you buy the Imagine?? I am still in disbelief that I actually got suckered into it. LOL  I really thought no way am I getting it right now, but with the extra carts, plus an additional one from the Circle AND flex pay... I caved. Still have NO idea where I am going to put tho. :)  Anyway on to the card. Mari at Made by Momo is having her Tuesday challenge in which we are to make a Just Because card (not from the cartridge JB) but for just sending to say Hello, Thinking of You, Miss You... etc.  I made this card for my Circle Pal (Hi Cindy!!) on the CC MB. I used the adorable Create A Critter cart for the cuts and the cute little faces are from none other than Peachy Keen Stamps! Thank you so much for stopping by. I would love it if you would leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Hope you have a Crafty Day!!

Fall card for Wee memories challenge, Card Creations & More, & CC

Happy Sunday to you all!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was absolutely beautiful here and we had a lot of family time... it was great!  After the kids were in bed I was able to do some crafting and was able to get this card done for the challenges at wee Memories, Card Creations & More, and the Cricut Circle.  I was having total creative block when making this so it took me quite awhile to finish, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out. By the way, that is one of our pumpkins from our garden. We have already picked 15 of them and have plenty more coming.  I think we may have planted a little early, but the kids are loving it! Thanks for stopping by to take a look. I would love if you would leave a comment and let me know what you think! Happy Crafting!

wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge #19

Hello... here is a card I did for the Scrappy Saturday Challenge over at wee Memories. These were the instructions in order to play along:
This week your challenge is to incorporate any kind of sweet treats i.e. Cupcakes, Cake, Pie, Candy, etc. into your project with some ribbon.
I am so happy with the way this turned out and it was pretty simple to make as well.  The cupcake stamps and sentiment are from Inkadinkadoo. I used Stickles on all the cupcakes to give a little extra sparkle and the ribbon is just from my stash.  Let me know what you think! :)   Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY CRAFTING!!

Another fun challenge at FCCB!

Hello!  Hope you are having a wonderful day!  Here is the card I entered in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #20. The challenge was At the Zoo, and we are to create a card or project using a Cricut cut animal.  My husband has been very stressed at work lately and I wanted to make him a card to let him know how much I love him. So, when I saw this challenge I wanted to somehow incorporate both! I came up with that catchy little sentiment and went from there! After looking at it, I realize it could have been entered in last weeks PKS Sketch challenge... must have still been in my subconsious mind!! Anyway... I am really happy at how this turned out and hopefully it will put a smile on my honey's face!! Thank you for taking the time to stop by.  Happy Crafting!!

PKS Sketch Challenge #33, FCCB Challenge #19 & Cuttlebug Spot Christmas in July

Hello.. Happy Sunday to you!!  Here is a card I made for a few different challenges. I stayed up until 3 a.m. working on this.... don't know how it got to be so late (or early, depending on how you look at it), but I LOVE how it turned out.  The challenges that inspired my card are:  Peachy Keen Stamps "Sketch" Challenge #33,  Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog "Christmas In July" Challenge #19,  and also the Cuttlebug Spot "Christmas in July".  I will post the recipe later, since once again, I forget which cartridges I used being I did it on my Gypsy!  I know I used the Cuttlebug EFs  Swirls and Swiss Dot. :)  Please let me know what you think... and if you have time, please look at some of my other projects I have posted.  Have a fabulous day and Happy Crafting!!

Emma's Throwback Thursday #8 & Cricut Cardz Challenge #34

Here is the card I made for Emma's (My Creative Time) Throwback Thursday Challenge #8 and also for  Cricut Cardz Challenge #34.  Emma's challenge was to make a project with a birthday theme using the Celebrations cartridge or any other older cartridge. Since I do not own Celebrations, I had to use a different one. (I can't remember which one right now since I used my Gypsy, but I am sure it will come to me).  The challenge at Cricut Cardz was to make a card using cupcakes, cookies, cakes or candy using any cartridge or theme you wanted.  So.... here is what I came up with.  I have a lot of birthdays coming up so I am sure I will be using this card soon.  Thanks for looking, and if you have the time, please look at some of my other projects and let me know what you think.  Hope you have a crafty day!!

Another Made By Momo Tuesday Challenge

The challenge this week at Made By Momo is to make something "Super Girlie". What is more Girlie than pink and shopping?? My neice turned 18 and I thought this card fit her perfectly. :)  On the inside I made a little pocket to put a Visa gift card for here to go shopping.  Thanks for coming by and taking a look. Please take a look at some of my other projects and let me know what you think.   Have a fabulous day.

FCCB Challenge #18

Hello....   Here is another card I made for a challenge over at the FCCB. This challenge was to make a Yummy treat shaped card or project.  I have a lot of birthdays coming up, so these challenges are really helping me get some cards done, which is great, because unfortuantely I can be a bit of a procrastinator!  If you have time, please look at some of my others cards, and let me know what you think.  I am very new to this whole blogging thing and LOVE when someone leaves a comment... it really makes my day!! :)

Tuesday Challenge at Made By MoMo

Hello... Here is a card I put together for the Made By Momo challenge. The challenge was to make a project of what "Love" means to you, or just do a "Love" themed card or layout. I had so many ideas about what to make, but I was really pressed for time, so this is what I came up with.  Not a whole lot of bling, but sometimes I just like a simple card.  The sentiment reads "You make my heart flutter", which I think suits this card perfectly, since the heart image looks like it "fluttering" away.  Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog.... let me know what you think.   Happy Crafting!!

Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge

Hello.... Here is a card I did for the Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge.  We were supposed to use either the cat or dog image from the Going Places cartridge or any other cartridge. Since I don't own Going Places, I decided to use this adorable Poodle from Create a Critter.  I was inspired by a video I saw on A Place for  My Cards   http://aplaceformycards.blogspot.com/2010/07/cafe-anniversary-part-1-cards-by.html  I am excited about using my markers again!  I will be giving this card to a very special little girl who is turning 8 next Sunday.  I really like the way it turned out,  so hopefully she will enjoy it as well.  Please let me know what you think.... I love to get comments!  Thanks so much.  Happy Crafting.

My Creative Time Challenge

Well after a nightmare of trying to download my pictures, I can finally post this card I did for the My Creative Time Throwback Challenge. Emma asked us to use the New Arrival cartridge. My nephew has a 1st bday coming up and his room is Jungle theme, so I thought I could give this card to him. I wish I had more time to work on it, but time was not on my side tonight. (and neither was my darn computer.... UGH!) Thanks for looking.

MPS Color Challenge Card

Happy 4th everyone!! Today I whipped out this card for the My Pink Stamper Color Challenge. We were supposed to make a project of any sort using the colors brown, pink, orange and green. This is probably the fastest I have ever made a card but I wanted to be sure I submitted something because I would LOVE to win a set of Robyn's stamps. It was a quick one... but Ihope
you like it! :)

TEACHER GIFTS

Hello....

Hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of school for my girls. I stayed up late last night working on a few gifts I will have them give to their teachers. Once again, I waited until last minute, so I will be working on making more of these same gifts tonight. (When will I EVER learn!! LOL) I really like the way these turned out... hope you do too. The front of the pencil holder is the "I love my teacher" and the backside is the A+ on the chalkboard. I will be putting a cute sparkly apple on the back of one of the ones I am doing tonight. The little box holds note cards with envies. Thanks for looking!
