I always feel like I don't have quite enough home decor for Independance Day, so I thought I would make a couple things to put around my house. 

So, here is what I came up with:

I created this card using a few different cut files.
The chick is from the Silhouette online store.  The feed bag and the haystack (which I embossed) are from a retired Kadoodle Bug Designs cut file titled "Happy Farm Life'.
The background is a retired Market Street Stamps stamp titled Honeycomb; the sentiment is from Joy's Life Barnyard Puns, and the cute chick face is from the Peachy Keen Critter Face Asst.

Enjoy the Summer - 3d Beach Bag gift/favor box

Hello everyone!
Happy (almost) Summer!
Can you believe there are only 2 more days until it's officially summer? Woo Hoo!! 
This week the Joy's Life Design Team is celebrating the beginning of summer, and  nothing says "summer" to me like a day at the beach! So in honor of beach season, I made this cute little beach bag, with a pair of sunglasses to finish it off:

This makes a great little gift box (or favor box) too!

I found this great beach tote at the Silhouette online store, as well as the sunglasses.  The beach tote was altered to accommodate the wicker handle I added. (The original file does have a handle on it, but I removed it.)
The sun was created with die from the My Creative Time Build a Banner Kit.
The paper I used is from Echo Park.
 The adorable face stamp is from the new Peachy Keen stamp set In the Garden face asst.
And, of course, the sentiment I used is from Joy's Life Pun in the Sun stamp set.

Hello!
Oh my goodness.... sorry for the super late post, but I seriously JUST finished my project for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge. I had only 2 minutes to spare.. talk about cutting it close!!
I have been so busy with teacher cards and gifts, that time just got away from me.
I must admit, it definitely isn't one of my best works of art, but at least I completed it!!  :)

The adorable shovel and pail are from the brand new Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month set.  I absolutely ADORE this set... it is just the CUTEST!!

The sun is actually a flower from the May 2012 Stamp of the Month, but I thought it made a pretty cute sun! :)

Well anyways, I gotta run to go finish the last of my teacher cards and the boxes I am making for homemade cookies.  :)

Hello!! Happy Wednesday!
Today is my day to post over at the Joy's Life Design Team blog, so I thought I'd share my project here with you as well.

This week the DT is creating "masculine" cards or projects.  If you are like me, this is not an easy task!  LOL!  Thankfully I found this cute SVG at the Silhouette online store:

The entire card, minus the seaweed, is from the "fish catch 5x7 card" . The seaweed is from the "underwater scene".

The fun stamped sentiment is from Joy's Life "Wild Life Puns" stamp set.

I will be giving this card to my hubby!!

Welcome - Shaped Card
