Happy Saturday everyone!! Welcome to the Joy's Life Design Team "Create with Joy's Life Stamps and Cri-Kits Gel Pens" Blog Hop! (whew, that was a mouth full!) You should have just come over from our SUPER talented and SUPER awesome Boss, Joy's Blog, but if not, please HOP on over there so you can start from the beginning.
Today the DT is sharing some fun projects created using Joy's Life stamps and Cri-Kits Gel Pens... hence the Blog Hop title! LOL!
These pens are are really cool and a lot of fun to use. They are available for most electronic cutters and they come in 4 different sets of colors (10 in each set) You can choose from the Regular and Neon, Glitter, Pastel and Metallic sets. Oh, and they have a set of 2 in swirl colors as well!! You can check them out right here.
Ok... let's get on with it!! My card was created using the Cri-Kits on my Cricut E2.
Ok... let's get on with it!! My card was created using the Cri-Kits on my Cricut E2.
The image is from the Cricut Martha Stewart Elegant Cake cartridge. I created this using my Gypsy, so I was able to use multiple colors by placing the different images on separate mat layers. For the flowers, I created a shadow around the image (on a separate layer) so I could cut them out after they were drawn.
For the outer border, I used the Black Glitter pen, for the flowers I used the Metallic Green and Glitter pink pens.
The stamped sentiment is from the Joy's Life Tag You're It - Set One stamp set.
Here is another card I made using the Cri-Kits Gel Pens and Joy's Life stamps that I posted a few days ago on the Joy's Life DT Blog (in case you missed it):
This design was drawn on vellum using the Black Glitter pen. The stamped sentiment is from Joy's Life Mother & Daughter stamp set.
You can find more details here.
