Today is my design team post for Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!!
This linky party theme is Winter.
The sponsors are: KaDoodle Bug Designs ($15), Cardz TV (stamp set), and Mariams Crafting Supplies-$5 credit (not ATG or shipping).
The more you link up, the better chance you have to win. Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.
Here is the project I created for the Linky Party:
I added some Liquid Applique to the trim of her coat and skates for some added texture:
This little cute skater is from an old retired Kadoodle Bug Design file titled Snow Beauty. I added a snowball for her to sit on because I always thought it kind of looked like she was sitting anyways! LOL!
I, of course, had to add a Peachy Keen face, and this one is from the Princess Asst Face set.
The papers are from a My Minds Eye 6x6 Paper Pad Be Merry.
I used an embossing folder I got from Stampin Up a long time ago... don't know if they have it anymore. And the felt snowflake is from SU as well. :)
The tag and sentiment are from My Creative Time Teeny Tag Greetings.
I added a little twine, inking and white gel pen for accents, and there you have it!!
I thought it turned out pretty darn cute!!
I hope you will be able to link up with us at Craftin Desert Divas.
