Happy Birthday - Iris Fold Card - CDD Linky Party

Hello everyone! Happy Memorial Day!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. :)

Today is my design team post for Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!!

This linky party theme is Fun Fold Cards!

 The sponsors are:
Digital Delight by Loubylou: $5 G.C.
Miriams Crafting Supplies: $5 Credit (not on ATG or Shipping)
Lucy Kelleher "Close to My Heart": $10 G.C. (Only in U.S.)

The more you link up, the better chance you have to win.  Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.

Here is the project I created for the Linky Party:

I found this Iris Fold card at SVG Cuts.com
I used some old Stampin Up Designer Paper I've had for a couple of years (can't remember the name)
The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's "Simply Said" stamp set.
This is a MUST HAVE set!

I would love for you to join us for the Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas... I can't wait to see what you create. :)

Thanks for stopping by today! As always, I love and appreciate your comments. :)

  5. Hi Lori,
New follower here and what a great time to start. I really LOVE your card!!
I've always wanted to attempt the iris fold, but I've always been SO intimidated. Seeing your card really does make me think I can tackle it and end up with a GORGEOUS result!!

I like your choice of deco paper (LOVE SU!!) and I really like that you made it in a flower shape rather than just a square or something. It looks like a really pretty quilted flower. :)

I also really like your crocheted lace border at the bottom, did you crochet that yourself?

Well, really pretty card, keep up the good work, love your crafts!

    Keep on Craftin'
