Happy egg hunting - Guest Diva





Hello crafters!
I am super excited today because I was asked to be a Guest Diva over at the Die Cuttin Divas Weekly Challenge Blog.  The challenge today is to create a project using ribbon and embossing. Now I realize this should be pretty easy to do right??? Well, I have not used ribbon on a card in over 6 months or more!! I am more of a twine and hemp kind of gal. :)  It's not that I don't love the way ribbon looks on a project, it just I CAN NOT tie a bow to save  my life! As you will see on my card today!! LOL!!

 I really LOVE my card, but that bow is definitely lacking!! :)

Stamped Sentiment: My Creative Time "Color Me Happy" stamp set
Paper: Core'dinations
Kraft paper: SU
Misc: ribbon, twine, rhinestones and white gel pen

    Thank You! Thank You! Thank You for being our Guest Diva. Your card is absolutley perfect and your bow is fabulous! You could never tell that you have difficulties with bows since this one looks great! I love to use ribbon since there are so many colors and styles and tend to stay away from twine. I will need to find that challenge for myself since you completed this one. :)

    OMG, your card is so cute! Love your adorable bunny!! I think the bow looks fine as it is, but if you don't have one, you should get a bow maker, or any resemblance thereof. I couldn't tie a bow either until I got a bow maker; it's so easy now. You can even stick 2 straws in a piece of foam and it works. Thanks for being our guest diva at DCD!
